This is where you want to eat for the best Chinese food in Northern Virginia. Located on Route 28 in Manassas, Virginia, Sichuan Garden is the best Chinese I've had EVER. The food is fresh and always tasting great every time I've visited. The restaurant is clean and of contemporary design. My favorite part is watching the chefs cook my meal right in front of me! It is an open kitchen and you can see everything they're doing from the front of the restaurant. If you like chicken, the General Tsos Chicken is the best I've ever had. WOW, huge lightly battered chunk of chicken in a hot, spicy and sweet sauce. I've never tasted General Tsos Chicken like this! Usually, I've found that at other restaurants this dish is soggy and over battered. And, if you're a Peking Duck fan, this restaurant's Peking Duck rivals that of Peking Gourmet in taste! It is crispy, full of flavor and paired perfectly with freshly cut spring onions, plum sauce, and flour made pancakes. Good restaurants are hard to find, this one is great and will be your new standard of Chinese food where you compare other restaurants. I would highly recommend you add this place to your stable of places to eat. Cheers and happy eating. |
