Huntington Beach California

Huntington Beach California is widely known as Surf City USA. This well known beach city is known for it long stretch of coastline. Huntington Beach begins where Sunset Beach ends up to coastline and ends 8.5 miles south at the beginning of Newport Beach. BUT, on August 2, 2010, Surf City's leaders voted 5-2 to annex Sunset Beach and it's 1.25 miles of coastline beach. The annexation will officially begin January 2011. The latest census reported a bustling city population of 192,620 (2008). It is a tourism hot spot in Orange County with it's downtown area, beautiful pristine beach, and many activities it offers. Surfing is what the city is known for, but you can also go sunbathing, swimming, volleyball, sea kayaking, take a romantic sunset gondola ride, sailing, skim boarding, boogie boarding, walk on the pier, fish, tennis, soccer, golf, frisbee golf, rent a beach cruiser(bike), rent a tandem/double bike, take surf lessons, make a bon fire, rollerblade, go jogging, kite/wind surf, rent a Duffy Electric Boat (Newport Beach), horseback riding, and bird watch/nature hike (Bolsa Chica Wetlands). The night life is equally exciting with great bars and restaurants alike. I recommend SUSHI ON FIRE for it's excellent fusion style sushi rolls, Coach's Mediterranean Grill for its good mediterranean food and portion size, Hurricanes Bar & Grill (get the cerviche and the shark fin sandwich), and No Ka Oi in downtown Huntington Beach for breakfast. Every Tuesday evening, the downtown area is closed off for "locals" night. Street vendors gather, locals bring their hot rods and motorcycles and park them inside the downtown area while locals and tourist alike roam the streets. Every Friday, there is a Farmer's Market/Swap meet at the Huntington Beach Pier right across from PCH and Main Street. Enjoy your stay and don't forget to venture to the great neighboring cities of Newport Beach and Westminster too. |

Felix Hung writes good content intels. If this was in a web, I would assume that the search engines would love it. However, I didn't check if the body text of his last intel was optiized fort the keyword of the topic Huntington Beach. I may assume that that is the keyword. Too much to get into here... But Felix'es last intel is made for lovely reading, nevertheless.
I've never been to Huntington Beach, Felix. However, you paint a great picture and your images are wonderful.

Excellent Intel. I lived in Orange County for awhile and it is a nice beach with so much potential. I would encourage anyone visiting Southern Calif. to visit Huntington Beach and enjoy!
