The Hottest Hollywood Director You Don't Know Yet

There is a director in Hollywood that is making his mark this Summer. He's been in the industry for a while now and has a good list of accolades, but his summer blockbuster of 2010 has put him over-the-top as one of Hollywood's Hottest Directors! The man I am referring to is, John Luessenhop. John is a friend and former business colleague from McLean Virginia. John's summer blockbuster - Takers, is set to be in theaters August 27, 2010. With an ALL STAR cast which includes the likes of Matt Dillon, Hayden Christensen, Paul Walker, T.I. Harris, Chris Brown, Jay Hernandez, Zoe Saldana, Idris Elba, Michael Ealy, and many more A-listers this movie will be the TOP grossing movie next week. The movie, previously named, "Bone Deep" was written by Luessenhop, Gabriel Casseus, Peter Allen, and Avery Duff. The plot revolves around a group of bank robbers who find their $20 million plan interrupted by a hard-boiled detective. Yes, I do know John. He's a good and humble guy. I missed the premiere (didn't get an invite), but I'm not very Hollywood. I like the suburbia Orange County offers. He does attact attention when he's out now and he deserves all the credit in the world.
Loved the write up and the support links and trailer! I am definitely going to see this movie when it comes out. In the meanwhile, I'll pass along your write up which sums it up best!

According to Entertainment Weekly, "Takers" grossed $21 million; 2nd place to "The Last Exorcism" which grossed $21.3 million.

Final numbers that came out today said Takers too the number one spot at $20.51 million to "The Last Exorcism's" $20.36 million. ;)
