UFC Live 3/21 Predictions

There's a lot of hype about the upcoming UFC LIVE on March 21, 2010. The card features Brandon Vera vs. Jon Jones and Junior Dos Santos vs. Gabriel Gonzaga as co-main events. Here's the prediction:

Alessio Sakara vs. James Irvin - prediction ALESSIO SAKARA Duane Ludwig vs. Spencer Fisher - prediction SPENCER FISHER Clay Guida vs. Shannon Gugerty - prediction CLAY GUIDA Eliot Marshall vs. Vladimir Matyushenko - prediction ELIOT MARSHALL John Howard vs. Daniel Roberts - prediction JOHN HOWARD Brendan Schaub vs. Chase Gormley - prediction BRENDAN SCHAUB Mike Pierce vs. Rob Kimmons - prediction MIKE PIERCE Eric Schafer vs. Jason Brilz - prediction ERIC SCHAFER
Brandon Vera has been trying to get to that number one contender spot, but has not strung together enough wins to do so. He will have a tough test in Jon Jones, but I believe this will be the first time Vera is knocked out cold. The other fight I am interested in watching is Cheick Congo vs. Paul Buentello. Cheick gets to practice his takedown defense again against Buentello. Exciting night on VERSUS and cable tv!
